The challenge comes for retailers and others to figure out smart ways to make their product engage with the users on youtube. To date any efforts have been pretty interruptive at best. That said, I think there's more chance of coming up with ways of monetizing Youtube in this manner than there is of Facebook managing a sensible monetization strategy that is anything but highly interruptive to their user's experience.

All the best.
